Wondering if it is a scam

Male Indian voice claiming to be from some travel company and telling me that in the last 24 months I filled out a coupon and myself and my family had won 6 nights free accomodation. As he's talking I got onto reverse australia and this page came up, so I told him that I'd just Googled his number and that he's a scammer. This time I hung up before they did so now I'm off to the Scamwatch site to report.

Same as many here - indian accented male caller - claimed I'd entered contest in last 2 years - was now able to make use of 70% discount on holiday accommodation.
When asked claimed business was Bluemont Escapes which has a dodgey website with no other search engine hits
When asked for ABN had to talk to others then claimed ABN was 25130168044 - which relates to an alternative business
Treat as a SCAM

Telling me I've qualified for a discounted overseas holiday, I only have to pay taxes and port charges. I asked him if he was the 'tooth fairy?' He hung up.

A hang up call.

When press *10 to check callers or a 101 this number seems to be fixed. The message is : please press 1. There is no option to press delete. So it has sat there on my telephone line for some time.

The next time I have need to call a Technicain I will ask that this number be deleted.

Received a call from this number. No message. The number of reports show this call centre is still very active.

Received a call from this number, let it ring but when it went to VM they hung up, Checked on this & another WEB site too and found it was a scam call so, now blocked. Keep up the great work

Male Indian voice claiming to be from some travel company and telling me that in the last 24 months I filled out a coupon. I was watching Scammer Payback on the mobile at the time so i put the landline next to the mobile. then he hung up go figure.

Pathetic. I've had a welcome break from the plague of these morons for a while but it's started again. At least I left him saying "Hello? Hello?" to himself for a while before he gave up - and then I left the line open, I hope, for a further half hour or so.
Please do not answer calls from unknown numbers, ever, or this is never going to stop. Let any legitimate callers leave messages and call them back if you need to.

A female voice, asked, if I was " my name", with strong accent.. Said was from muffled name travel company and I had filled in a discount coupon. I firmly and politely advised her that, I never complete coupons and that she is actually a scammer and hung.up Number reported and blocked.

As per some of the comments already posted, obvious scammer. Asked if I remembered filling out coupons for a travel company. when i said know he immediately said that that was understandably because it was some time ago. The call was at 8.25 Qld time! I told him he wasn't going to trap me and hung up.

'Number not connected, please check the number before calling again' This number, and similar number with last few digits changed, has been calling for months.

Like others here, I was told I'd won a free holiday and when I asked why? I got some waffle about entering a competion but she couldn't say which one or when. When she said I was required to make a small non refundable holding deposit I became suspicious and told her I'm rejecting the holiday and reporting her calling number to scamwatch. She hanged up!

this number always rings after 9pm. this is the second time. thanks to all report it as again another scam number
