I received a message from a pre-recorded voice saying to call the "department" as soon as possible on this number. No further information about who they were or why they wanted me to call. Needless to say, I am not calling them.
I had a bit more of a look online and it seems to be calls are originating from Madagascar and it is a tax scam. They are just trying to get personal details and are threatening people with arrest if they don't pay money over the phone immediately.
Everyone knows the ATO don't work this way. d*ckheads.

Caller: (02) 6152 8689 Called me but decided not to leave a message. SCAMMER. Vultures and leeches seem to come out this time of year. I called the number and was engaged. You better block your ears maggot I'm not happy with you.
