Scam ATO tax refund

Saying I had tax owed to me. Scam

ATO scam, check your MyGov account rather than taking someones word about your returns.

I didnt get the actual phone calls from this number but I have received multi messages for abour 3 months said this number tried to call me and didnt leave any messages. I tried to ring back the number wasn't even connected. I believe its a scam.

Looks to be a scam they left a message to say they were from the tax refund department the unit of the Australian Taxation Office. That they had found an error. First scam of the new year!

(02) 6145 2032 Called at 5:05 pm on 8/1/18 said that was from the ATO and was due for a refund of $890 due to a error in my tax return on 2014 to 2016 I said talk to my accountant, but would not talk to a third part, he wanted to do a direct debit or into a credit card
I said to post a cheque as all payment from them would be, not interested in doing this, so I said it sounds like a scam to me, so thanks and good bye

tried calling same as everyone. Told them to F off.
He told to me F off as well.

I called back number (02) 6145 2032 rang 3 times then goes to busy tone.
