I called back number (02) 6102 8658 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

3 times today this number called, something to do with some holiday club, very scripted speel. Knew our names and address

I agree! Why aren't these calls barred or allow me to call them back, like 50 times a day !

2 answering machine hangups listed (02) 6102 8658 and (07) 3102 8658. Too much of a coincidence not to be the same people.

Asked my name. Confirmed. According to him I filled out a form at Coles in Helensburgh for discounts. No I didn't. "You probably don't remember it was 8-9 months ago". No, I don't fill out forms. Had my address - did not confirm.Asked for purpose of call. Same story. Not comfortable with this call, terminating it now.

Same as described by other people above. These people are unconscionable

Why isn't something being done to stop these people? It's obvious they are a nuisance.

Caller: Some Indian Lady

This Lady from Canberra, Australia Capital Territory called 3 times saying I've won a five star accommodation. First of all never entered sh*t! yet i was somehow selected (ha ha bloody hilarious) Second of all 02 numbers have been contacting me and say they're calling from Bankstown, New South Wales as well as Newcastle, New South Wales.

Absolute pest...…. 6 or more nuisance calls!

Called today, sad they were calling from Brisbane, gave he same splurge about a holiday. Hung up when I said dialing code was not Queensland

Caller: 'Rebecca'

'Rebecca' called about a 'holiday' we 'won'. She claimed to be from Brisbane from the number (02) 6102 8658 but needed to google the weather... ?pathetic.

These scam callers have no concience, and sadly are able to trick hardworking Australian citizens (or pensioners) on the regular. Absolute garbage humans who need to be shut down for the betterment of society.

They've rung several times but hang up when answering machine comes on.

Caller: Couldnt make out his name.

Caller said "Did I remember filling out a coupon at Christmas time" regarding travel. To which I answered No. He then congratulated me on winning some accommodation. I could not really understand what he was saying. I said I was unable to accept his offer to which he asked what reason I had for doing that. He tried to persist but I said goodbye and hung up.

Caller: someone who says they are from a cruise company

He asked for me and tried very hard too speak like it was DOING SPEECH THERAPY.
Told him no one lived here and this number is on Do Not distrub.. he hung up

Caller: TS Vacations

Someone called Victoria, asked me if I remember filling in a form 2 years ago and when I said NO, she promptly said ' must have been longer ago" !
She offered me a packet of 7 tokens for $299.00 to use in accommodation anywhere in Australia or NEWSYLAND. That was a big warning sign !
Then she passed me over to a man, who's name I couldn't understand, who asked me to google TS Vacation site and click on "submit" after he gave me the "temporary code". I disconnected my computer and thanked him for his call and hung up, despite his desperate pleas to start again. That call had DANGER written all over it.

Annoying B...stards. Surely Telstra and Optus can find a way to block Voip calls coming from numbers we all block to assist their loyal customers.

Scam call from VoIP number. Want you to say "Yes" to who you are. Don't do it - it's how they scam your name and run up debt in your name!
