same as other comments - strong Indian accent - asked for my name and alleged to be from the ATO, although only gave me this information after I asked a few times; was very aggressive and rude on the phone - absolute scam

Recorded message threatening arrest. I will not be calling them back.

Haven't paid something so your will be audited and put in Jail

Automated voice saying I had unpaid taxes and mail has been returned from my registered address and a warrant will be issued for my arrest. I tried calling the number but says I could not connect to try again later.

Caller: Brian Cooper

Rang the number and was told it is the ATO, the guy with the heaviest Indian accent I have ever heard proceeded to tell me he was the officer in charge and his name was Brian Cooper. When I questioned his accent and name he said that he likes India and hung up... what a scam, not a very good one I might add..

Caller: Allegedly from the Tax Office

Once again a scam call from someone with voice mail saying they are from the ATO. Making threats to have you arrested and so on. I hope they get these bastards and give them hard labour.
