It has rang my number so many times then just hangs up. When you call the number back it rings then disconects.

(02) 6100 8115 i missed a call and called back - ATO wanting details ... not happy these scammers are getting more and more frequent.

Caller: ATO Apparently

Missed a call, then called the number, answered hello...I said who is this? ATO can I ask your name & date of birth? Sure but before I do how do I know you’re actually calling from the ATO? They hung up!!!!!

The ATO are suing me, then I hung up

I had a missed call from this number, when I called back someone replied this (is the australian taxation office) and asked me for my name and home address, when I questioned if this is truly the taxation office he hung up.

Caller: ATO scam caller

SCAM.Picked up the call heard the prerecorded message stating similar to what others have noted above. Hung up and called back, a male with an Indian accent answered with ‘hello, Australian Taxation Office’.

Answered the phone call I didn’t say anything for 11seconds & then the phone hangs up

Claim to be ATO investigating fraudulent activity, hangs up when called out on scamming.

I’ve just received a call from the same number, (02) 6100 8509. Apparently “I have an arrest warrant out against my name for fraudulent activity”. And when I tried to return the call it just disconnected. Prob the Bloody Chinese
