bank owes mone to mee7u8

10am today in SA got a call from Indian sounding girl called 'Kathleen Parker' of 'Reclaim Experts' saying they worked for the Australian Government refunding overcharged amounts from banks.  I was due to $3140. She asked me to confirm my date of birth with her records. I smelt a rat and gave a false DOB which she confirmed was OK (!). She also asked for my mobile number but I said I didn't have one. She asked if I would prefer cash or chq and then gave me a password and asked me to call (02) 6100 8466 in 10min and quote this password. Her manager Austin Reece would answer and tell me how to proceed next. I thought I'd see how far this was going, so called the number and a 'John Smith' spoke with me asking me if I had a large post office nearby. If so I was to go straight away to it and collect a 'Western Union Money Sent Form', call me from the post office and he would tell me how to fill it in. He also said I would have to pay the tax of $200 up front but this would be refundable with the $3140. I said I had no mobile so he said to bring the form home and he would call me back in 30 mins. I asked for his number - (02) 6100 2980. Meantime I checked it out and when he rang I calmly told him I had found out this was all a scam and he really should have a conscience. He denied it all and insisted it was all above board. He said he would transfer me to his boss at which stage I hung up. The phone has been ringing ever since but I won't answer it as I presume it's them again.
