Same type of call received. They are saying they are from Australian Tax dependent and in random check they checked my last 2 years records and found number of issues. So, arrest warrant has been issued against my name.

Caller: Dave Tillman from the "ATO" at number (02) 6100 8394

told me i have been audited by ATO and that they will be issuing an arrest warrant if I don't admit to have "wilful intent to defraud the ATO" and that I owe the government $4200. when asked why they didn't contact my accountant, Dave got agitated and said he won't need to involve a third party.

They stated I was going to arrested by federal police because of an outstanding amount in my tax.

It was the tax dept, blah blah blah if I didn't ring back straight away a warrant would be issued for my arrest. I contacted the tax dept to alert them, but I guess they probably already know.

Asked me to call back otherwise will sue me.

I was called by this number today (12 Sep2018) and was advised by a digital/fake voice that a lawsuit from the ATO is being made against me and that I need to call this number back ASAP.

I have assumed it is a scam as the ATO will not make contact in this way.

Same thing. An automated message claiming to be from the ATO saying a lawsuit was being filed against me and now I had listened to the message, if I didn't call back a warrant would be issued for my arrest.

Computerised voice claimed to be from Tax Office. Same message as from 'Anonymous' in that a lawsuit had been filed and I'd be arrested if I didn't call back.
Called the number out of curiosity. Rang once then went to engaged tone.

Same here, same phone call

A voice automated message told me to call back immediately to its "department division" on the above number. If I did not do so a warrant would be issued for my arrest.

I had the same message. A computer voice told me if I didn't call the number back there would be an arrest warrant filed against me.

I received a voice mail from this number saying if i didn't call them back i would be issued with an arrested warrant.

I did not call them back.
