Recorded message, says they are from the ATO, but the ATO do not leave messages like this and it is not their phone number.
The ATO also send letters out first before taking legal action which this number claimed to be doing. I have no debt with the ATO.

scammers pretending from microsoft claiming my PC was hacked..... most probably by them, trying to charge my credit card. I reported to the bank and could avoid losing money

saw this number pop up on my phone. googled it quickly and found this. proceeded to use a work landline and rang them back. numpty says he's from ATO ( in a thick accent)
i just spat out random nonsense to muck around with the numpty XD. if only we could do like a autodialer to call them back and playback some random gibberish

As with previous posts, I got a voice message from women with American accent saying message was from legal dept of Australian Taxation Office regarding an enforcement action. I have checked with ATO directly & I don't have any outstanding dealings with them. Clearly a scam. Do not answer or call them. I have blocked the number.

I have had the same voice recorded phone call twice in the last 2 days. The ATO don't contact you in this way

same, I received a phone call saying I have a half an hour before the federal people will be coming to detain me for tax fraud. this is defiantly a scum, because I went to the local police station and rang the tax office. DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL DETAILS OUT. if unsure call the ato office.

Claims to be from ATO but it can't be. An american voice recording stating there is an affidavit in place, which is crap and definitely a scam. Do not answer or call back this number.
