I got a call from this number and was told that i got a refund of $7000 from ATO for good behaviour. They told me to call back (02) 6100 4364.

I got a call from Indian accent George Parker offering me $70000 for bieng good Australian citizen. some idiot who has nothing to do.

Hey even i recieved the same phone call from john williams and he was so convinced.Dont loose the money.Can we give complaint against them?

Called and claimed to be the tax office. Followed up with the tax office and there is no record of this number on file with them.

I also got a call from the same guy, George Parker, told me the usual crap. While he was on the phone, I googled the number he gave me and found it is a scam as I thought. I told him the number he gave doesn't sound like an ATO number and he replied "It is a confidential scheme !" what a crap ! Same thing happened to me.  Exact same details like the above calls.  PM Julia Gillard has decided to offer good citizens $7000.  Asked me to call on (02) 6100 4364 and gave a reference number A912 to quote when calling this number.

Hi, I got same call. The called asked me to claim $7000 from ATO canberra. For that I have to call (02) 6100 4364. I was also given reference no. for this call. I told caller that his call seems to be fake. But he still asked me to call that no. in order me to claim that money. He told me his name as
george Parker.

Just had the call while I was typing away....same as above, great citizen and pay my bills on time so ATO will give me 7k. Seriously how can they not stop this stuff??

I got the same call from mr.john williams( his accent was funny) n he told me to call on (02) 6100 4364,then i l get a 6 digit code so i can claim 7000$ from any bank bcz i m good citizen paying all my bills on time,but the basterd did nt knw tht i did not pay any bill from last three months,hahahaha so plz everyone b careful dnt pay any money when they tell u to supponser a child.....
