Same thing happened to my friend today she called to tell me the good news and I said it was a scam. Apparently they put money in her account and asked her to go to post office in the morning

got same call. Asked for which bank I banked with. Asked what photo id i had. Said I didnt have any. So he proceeded to ask if i had pension card, medicare card. When I said they dont have photo ID on them, they said they will do as id. tried not to answer any question with yes, said possibly, which confused them. TOTAL SCAM wanting our info.

Said 3000 people would get $7698. Wanted my PIN number. I refused. Said could still apply but had to pay 10% so $770 at post office which I would get back along with $7698.

hello every one i received a call from (02) 6100 4197 which is a indain guy looks like, he asking me my D,O.B and a lots of question, please don't trust him, he is very danger guy, if i received next call from him i will reported to the police , this is his mobile number 0427 887 395.

He contacted me last Wednesday and they said they are from Commonwealth Grant Commission and stated i will received $7698! This F*%#^* Indian guy get access to my bank account and they said they will transfer money to my account and ask to buy STEAM VOUCHER! Until i didnt realise that they took my money to my account!! Please help us to catch this people!!!!!

Indian voice who told me that 3000 people who pay their bills on time, aren't bankrupt or have a criminal record are paid $7698 by the Commonwealth Grants Commission of Canberra. Told I would receive a text message & then letter with further information. When asked if it was a scam phone call the guy said no! Someone needs to catch these people & lock them up!
