This number called my mobile and left a message. It was a recorded robotic voice with an American accent telling me to call them back on this number otherwise they will have me arrested. Ridiculous! Obviously a scam.

Repeated calls from this number, male pretending to be from the Australian Taxation Office. Don’t give them details as it is probably a scam.

Tried to leave automomated robo call from Australian Tax office - ATO don't use American accents. Nor do ATO use robo calls. Thirdly they would contact by letter through my accountant / tax agent. SCRAM SCAMMERS, U R FLICKED!

yea i got the same call just then. it said that someone filed a lawsuit under my name and if I don't respond i will be arrested

firstly they told me I had to ring back to pay money or I would be arrested , when the caller was question they advised they would F$&k my mum and a host of other vial comments.
This is 100% a scam

I also received a scam call from this number threatening me with arrest if I didn't call back. I wonder if this is now the English language version of the Chinese scam that was targeting Chinese speakers in Australia last year?

As above, the robocall claims I have been named in an ATO court case and that if I don't return the call I'll be arrested. Scam. Don't answer if possible.

Left a voicemail with a TTS voice, obvious scam

this number called my mobile - didn't answer as I generally do not answer unknown or blocked numbers and will call back if the number appears. I called this number back from a private number and the person on the other end answered with "welcome to the Australian taxation office how can i help you?" Had an Indian accent that I could just barely make the words out to. I hung up straight away. I will be making a call to the DIRECT line for the ATO asking if they have called me as this i feel is very dodgy. Very much a scam.

It makes no sense and is clearly another scammer!!
