Robotic voice said they were the Tax Office and there was an action being taken against me. If I didnt call back I would be arrested.

yup it's the ATO scam. i rang back for kicks and got a call centre: much too busy with voices, and a lovely woman with a south asian accent who called herself 'officer' something. she asked why i was calling; i said i'd received a call; she said 'okay' and then hung up. i expect some follow up calls / communications now.

Do not answer calls from this number. Claims there is a law suit against you. Threaten to issue warrant for arrest if you don’t not respond.

Claims to be from the ATO re: a lawsuit in my name and if I don't call them back then they'll arrest me.

Didn't answer. Later got a voicemail from a robotic voice saying to call back or I will be an arrest warrant on me

They said they were lodging a suit file against me if I dnt ring back

Got the same phone call 10 minutes ago. As well as my husband last week. It’s a scam.

Caller left a message. Stated an arrest warrant would be issued if I didn’t ring back

You missed a call from (02) 6100 3487, who said "There is a lost(?) suitcase is getting filed under your name. The moment you receive this message I want you to get back to me on my department division no. 2610."

I got the same call today, I guess it should be phishing.

Scam, trying to get my tax information and threatened to have me arrested if i did not respond with haste. I called them several times and demanded information both politely and impolitely. I am 100% that this is a fishing scam for bank information.

SCAM!! DO NOT ANSWER & DO NOT CALL THEM BACK!!! If you can, block this number. Automated message claiming to be from the ATO advising legal proceedings are about to start & if you don't reply a warrant will be issued for your arrest. The ATO will NEVER contact you like this. EVER! don't fall for it!!

An automated message came through when I answered a call from ph (02) 6100 3487 & said they were calling from the ATO tax department in Canberra & said I was going to have a warrant issued for my arrest & be arrested if I didn't call them back on 6100 3487 .. but when I call that number it rings out??
