Make this complaint 39, I had the same happen to me, Although I just checked my voicemails now but it was delivered on the 18th of january and I'm still not arrested so.... 😂 Yeah its a scam, and news like that would not be done electronically

Got a call from (02) 6100 3487 claiming I would have an arrest warrant issued against me if I didn't respond. Tried calling back and the number was busy. Looks like from what everyone is saying its a scam to get you to give over personal info. Have reported the phone number to the local Police.

I had this caller on the 18th of Jan. I called back and gave them fake information to check if they had a data file list. They don't because once i gave them fake information they said they could see my account. I questioned the Indian lady about which Tax File Number it had been filed under and she told me to shut up and listen. This is clearly not a government call as they would not talk to you like this. Whatever you do do not:
- Give them your information as this can be collect and set up loans,bank accounts etc.
- Pay them google pay cards. Clearly a government body would not accept Google pay as a form of payment.
My suggestion would be to not accept the call and just move on. There is no point calling this wankers as they don't work for ATO.

called the number back and they claimed to be ATO investigations team - they asked all my details (gave a fake name and random address) and was told that they're sending the police to my (fake) address if i didn't give them money.

Computer voice saying Ato has lawsuit against me and would arrest me if I didn't call back

Called me & left an automated message saying if I didn't call back a warrant for my arrest will be issued! Stupid scammers!

Answered call and it was a machine advising to call them back on a certain number. I cancelled the call and called back on the number that called me and an indian person answered saying they were from the ATO.

I got one later this day . Wtf is no from?

Said they were from the Australian Taxation Office, and that I had a lawsuit filed under my name.

Robot call saying they were from the ATO and I have a lawsuit filed against me.
