Same story as other mentioned above.she seems to be a chinise lady.
I think she was after my personal details.

I received a call today to call back his supervisor  Jenifer Thomson from Canberra Tax office on this tel number (02) 6100 3170. The call story was  about the same saying that Tax office has selected 5000 tax payers to pay them back A$ 4700 within 2 hours from me sending A$199 to their Charity in the name of Rita Devi,10 Ram St, in New Delhi. Can't we get this reported to the Police or other authorities involved with this type of bogus callers??????????

I just got a similar call. She gave me her phone number and her id was J12627. Hmm On the phone to the tax office to confirm it now

Yeah I am sure you got the money you sound so convicing!!! Why wouldn't it make sense for the Australian Government to hand out money but make you pay a transfer fee first..........

I too got samt type of call and asking for pay donation first then they will deposit this amount into my bank account.

Man called saying he was from the Australian Grant dept, and that I was entitled to $4000 to spend on anything but drugs,gambling and alcohol
