I just got a similar call. She gave me her phone number and her id was J12627. Hmm On the phone to the tax office to confirm it now

me too, I gave the money and I got .4.700 from them in 2 hs... can you believe? I am very happy woman now...

I received a call today to call back his supervisor  Jenifer Thomson from Canberra Tax office on this tel number (02) 6100 3170. The call story was  about the same saying that Tax office has selected 5000 tax payers to pay them back A$ 4700 within 2 hours from me sending A$199 to their Charity in the name of Rita Devi,10 Ram St, in New Delhi. Can't we get this reported to the Police or other authorities involved with this type of bogus callers??????????

Give them a call back they are great for a laugh I just asked for a supervisor, asked him where his office was told him he was wrong, explained Australian legislation and the public information act and he hung up on me. If you want have fun just keep asking them questions don't give them your name just ask lots of questions, if you want to be all sneaky just check the weather on line and when they tell you where they are ask them how the weather is they nearly always get it wrong. As annoying as these calls can be just call them back and harrass them they way they harrass us, put on a fake accent come up with silly names have a few friends over to give you some good ideas as well you can make a real party of it.
