Dodgy Nigerians pretending to be from the ATO

Got a call and subsequent voice message complete with automated voice from this number - most definately a scam claiming they have filed a law suit under my name...

Phone call information shows from Canberra ACT

Was just called and left an automated message referring to legal action and warrant for my arrest. Sounds drastic. It's a shame the ATO or the telco provider hasn't done anything about this for 4 years.

These guys called, left message, when I called back they wanted $1mill or going to kill me, my wife, parents. Seriously wtf? Claiming from ato first

i got a call from them today threatening me of a pending ATO assessment!

Automated message citing tax avoidance and threatening jail time.

They said I have ATO fines $1000??? 100% scam. Bad guys keep doing stupid things.

3 years later and they're still going

Called today saying I had a tax evasion and asked why I would have that. Dodgy

this is a brand new scam being reported on 5 September 2015.
Automated voice claiming to be the ATO with an affidavit and a charge of $2k coming my way.

It's a fake call since the ATO would certainly not operate in this way and others on similar sites reporting identical calls.
