Just had this number ring & say I'm under federal investigation, bullsh%^&t!!!

18 May, 2017, 9.53 am - a call from (02) 6100 3014 (a Canberra/Queanbeyan or Yass number) on my mobile phone number which is not a listed number. Received a recorded message saying they were the ATO and that I was under investigation and my house was under surveillance and I would have to go to court and various other things - I live on a farm in the NSW country and it would be pretty easy to see if any one was doing surveillance unless they were using electronic or telephonic means

yea had the same scam...thank God its not true

Just received a call. Automated voice saying that my house was under surveillance and that I was being investigated by the ATO. That I needed to call this number immediately. Very grateful for this post thread.

Told me he worked for tax fraud and criminal investigation. Knew my name and address. I was suspicious and asked a bunch of questions. When I asked if I hang up and call the ato would they patch me through to him, he snapped out of character, told me to "f*** off" and hung up!

yep, I got a message saying they were from the Australian "Backstation" office (whatever that is) and that I had received an affadavit against me as the primary suspect for a case and that my house is under surveelance (yes surveelance) and not to ignore - obviously a scam.

(02) 6100 3104 has started up again.

Received a call from this number tried to call back and person kept on hanging.. definitely a scam.

Recorded message cuts in and out and is of a bad quality. Supposedly from ATO

Yes I got an automated message left on my voicemail saying my house was u see surveillance and if I didn't call back I would be persecuted. Scam for sure.

Scammer I think said delaying in calling back meant I would be arrested too funny

Under Federal investigation and to avoid any further enforcement action call the (02) 6100 3014 number. Fine against our name. Very poor quality recorded message. Is a scam

They left a message saying they were the police commission and my address was under federal investigation

scammer saying their the ATO PAYMENT required 5 minutes to 5 pay now or be arrested
