Called and left a message there is a warrant out for my arrest and to call immediately.

Just received a call from this number and was told that I had an audit done and owed the ATO $3680! He screwed up though because his story didn’t check out with what my records state. Seriously though, he couldn’t even pronounce REFUND... ‘A ref’nd’ Had to give him a quick English lesson on how to announciate! 🙄😒

Received a call saying I owed money. Number came through as a Canberra number. Rang back man with Indian accent saying you’ve reached the Australian Tax Office this is officer Braughn.

My partner got a call today, he dosen't answer numbers he dosen't know. I called the number and he said he was from the ATO...... When I asked him what the call was about he hung up

I suspect that this is the very same perpetrator who called my mobile and knew my name when calling earlier this year from a Victorian based landline as the artificial American accented message regarding phoning from the ATO and a warrant being issued for my arrest sounds EXACTLY the same ... the ATO would actually send official correspondence and not resort to a pre-recorded and American generated automated voicemail ... due process also requires that before issuing a warrant for your arrest for unpaid taxes that you are given an opportunity to enter into a time to pay agreement and given a reasonable amount of time within which to pay ... number blocked. What an absolute muppet!!!!

Recorded message on mobile from (02) 6100 3014. The message was saying from ATO and they had done an audit that I was being investigated. It's annoying

fake ato person. do not give them any personal details. just hang up

automated message from the tax office. scam

I did not ring them I know it is not true as I have done my tax return months ago. I ignore numbers I don't know and do a check on google to see who actually is ringing. I put a block on calls like this.

We received an recorded message today from 02 6100 301.The message said he was from the ATO and unsigned paperwork wasreturned to them and it's time sensitive.
I have called the ATO and they confirm this is a scam and I have lodged it with the ATO Scam Investigation Unit. When I called the number it was answered by a man with an accent (maybe indian) however the caller hung up straight away.

Left a voice message that said I had a warrant for my arrest and it was very time sensitive and I need to call them back. It was a robot voice! Yeah don't think so lol

Had a call today saying they had an afadavit under my name and my house in under surveillance. Scam.

Had someone call from this number today saying they are from the ATO. They had my full name but hung up on me after I questioned them.

Yep same. Scam is still happening.
