I had a recorded message telling me that i had been audited and that I was going to be charged with tax evasion and arrested.

they just rang me "automated message from Australian Taxation Office" you have been identified as fraudulent and will be prosecuted unless you ring...... what a load of bollocks!

This number just rang me and left a msg to ring the same number back as I have supposedly given an incorrect TF number and have been fraudulent avoiding tax and I am being hunted down to possibly go to jail as all mail has been returned. I rang it back and surprise surprise no answer and it rung out.
Bloody annoying arseholes. So what does this mean now. .I rang back , so now they can hack my phone or what?

Same thing. They called me and it was a terrible line and I could hardly understand the caller. She said to call that number cos the Taxation office was going to give me $5200. So annoying that they know your name, address and number!

yes its a fake number i got a fake call from unknown number ....

it's a scam..i got a call 4m unknown no.and was told to call dis no. as i won 4,200 AUD from taxation office,canberra and the money will b transferred to my account within 24 hrs..bt it's all fake!!

I just got the same call- told to call the 'Tax Office' on this number because I'm entitled to money. Such a scam.

Yes it is a scam, my father was told to ring this number and they'd give him money from the Taxation Department, so I rang it and it is a very abusive scammer when I said "you are a scammer preying on old people"
