Left a msg on my phone to say "Behind this call is that there is a lawsuit getting filed under your name. The moment you receive this message I want you to get back to me on my department division no. 02" Of course I won't be calling them back.

I just received a message from this number. Claimed they were the Australian Taxation Office, was very hard to hear msg. Said I would be arrested if I didn’t call back!!
SCAM!

A female voice left a message saying she was calling from the Australian Taxation Office, and that there was a lawsuit in my name and if i didn’t call back soon a warrant for my arrest would be issued.

i got the same thing, just now. I hope they choke,

Received a call advising there was a lawsuit from the ATO and if i didn't call back I would be arrested.

I got told it was the tax department. If I didn't call back there would be a warrant for my arrest?

these ppl have been ringing me at first they told me i won an mp4 player then she kept calling me the she told me i won 400,000. they told me they where a research company i can t member the name she said but its the same number (02) 6100 1893 its has 2 be a scam.
( is this just happing in australia ) we need to sstop these ppl .

Wheres the authorities when you really need them... Their should be a system in place to protect the consumer from scams and fraud like this. I really did think l won something especially $60 thousand well who wouldn't be happy.

the name of the girl who kept calling me was Sarina and her managers name was Yurrie The companies name is Jinghua the tel no (02) 6100 1893 supposedly the activity address taking place in aust...is 1 binara st Canberra their email add is jinghuacor.mall @ yahoo.com.au prize no PA52868 its all not true they need bank details in their own countries to pretend that they are really making a transfer of some kind. they are just using people to get real bank account details for their own references. God knows what their going to do with them. Dont believe them in any way its fraud... Contact the police and notify them ask for guide if necessary.

Okay I also got called but this time number is another than explained in this web page. It is -(02) 6100 3057.When they made me call they were calling many more people also I heard them talking with other people in background while talking with them. Everything written here is happening with me. Isn't there any solution to stop this type of SCAM? Why dont all we complain to police or someone else who could take action against them. Actually, they were calling from landline/home phone, isn't this too much? Lets complain this and force Govt. to take action against them asap.
