You lucky buggers, we only won an iPod. They targeted my 15 yr old son, asked him about shopping preferences and buying gifts for 'someone special'. I hear my sons half of the conversation and alarm bells are ringing, so I grab the phone and ask her who the hell she was and what was this nonsense. She said to me they wanted to thank my son for participating in their survey with an iPod and what was his first name, they apparently had our surname already and obviously phone number, white pages is my guess. So I said it was David, its not, but it was easy enough. Apparently before I noticed what was going on, they had already got an email address from my son, he is at least smart enough to give a gmail address he uses for all things dodgy but he still had hope in his heart this was the real deal, what gets me is he already has an iPod but temptation can be strong.So they ring again today ( I wasnt there), something about motorbikes and various other things and there is an email at his email address with a 'gift certificate' looking to be filled with personal details such as ID:, Address: DOB; etc and returned. There is also some admission ticket to some event at you guessed it 85-87 Roma St along with some sort of seating arrangement chart.Emails originate from, xingzuangroup @ yahoo.com. I hope these filthy parasites die in a fire.

Hi,I got a call too...  Who are they?

Have just spoken to them ,accused them of a scam, and within minutes i find this posted saying  i have just got my audi.. so who put this message on NOT ME

Just got call saying i've won $60,000 Aus dollars but they were ringing from Brisbane (07) 3103 3838How gullible do these people think we are, if its sounds to good to be true it is

yeah, i got a call from them telling me i have won 2nd prize of 450,000....i am really angry and upset...this has to stop guys.....

I too have been contacted by this group and like the rest of you have won second prize.  Unfortunetly, I didn't do a google search until after I faxed through my completed claim form!  No bank details though, I am not that stupid :)
What I don't understand is what do they stand to gain from this?  Surely no-one would be silly enough to pay them money for them to release money?  
From what I am gathering that is what they will be asking me to do this afternoon, although Farrie (my asian caller) tells my cheque is in the post!
I told her that I had Googled the company and I believe it to be a Scam.  She was suitable shocked and assured me that the company only had their first launch party last night in Canberra.  She then went on to tell me not to spend my money all at once! Oh my!
