Some Indian woman claiming they were 'Vodafone billing department' - when I said my phone isn't with Vodafone, they hung up. Like the above posters have said, the number was showing as from Albury.

Agree - believe this to be a scam. I am not a Telstra customer and was called saying she was from ‘Telstra billing department’. Also showed as an Albury number. I hung up

Caller: Said they were from Telstra

A woman with a strong Indian Accent called from this number. I had to ask her 3 times to repeat where she was from as I couldn't understand a word she was saying. I finally got the impression that she said she was calling from Telstra. She then went on to explain what the call was about but all I understood after a long monologue was that she wanted my date of birth. I finally said that she would have to send me the details in an email or text message but haven't heard from them yet.

Woman with a South Asian accent claiming to be from Telstra offering a 40% Covid discount. Wanted to confirm my DOB over the phone. I hung up and blocked the number.

Woman with an Indian Accent

Saying she’s calling from Telstra to offer me a 20% discount … Said can I just confirm your date of birth to activate the discount …

I said can you email me offer ??
(If they’re Telstra they should have my Email address) …

She repeated I’m just looking to confirm your DOB to activate the discount … I said look I’m not comfortable giving out personal details when I’m not sure who I’m talking with , she couldn’t wait to end the call 😂
