Number from Coffs Harbour - Automated caller, stating they were ebay and money was being debited out of my account. press 1 to confirm, press 9 to speak to operator. I left the phone on loud speaker and did not press any number and the call eventually dropped out. I have now blocked their number.

An automated message was playing of a young chinese woman's voice speaking in Mandarin. Given the elections coming up, I would hypothesis this may have some bearing...

Got called yesterday by Asian male stating 2 transactions on my credit card for $400 and $1300. Never had made any such transactions and asked what credit card he was talking about and sounds like “you’re bloody scamming me” he hung up!!

Yet another Amazon call. Third for the day on different numbers. Why can't our Telco's identify this trash and stop it??????

Have received 3 calls - active - 10 MAY 2022. Scam regarding credit card transactions $400 and $1300. Entirely the same script as the others reported.

Just got one of these - Coffs Harbour ID - just got a beep-beep signal when I picked up. Not even a recorded message. Jumped here as I was pretty sure it was a scammer/SPAM. 12:40 PM 10/05/2022

I received a call from this number. It was a automatic voice message from a female saying that this is from Security Department and as soon as I heard this, I hanged up.

Called me on Mother’s Day, which is not only a holiday, but a Sunday as well. I didn’t answer the phone because at 7:00 PM I knew it wasn’t anyone I knew and probably a scammer. Same number called me again Monday, this time I answered and immediately had a voice message saying that there were 2 suspicious charges on my credit card, and to press 1 to accept, 2 to decline and 3 to hear messages again. I don’t own a credit card so I hung up. Obviously a Scam! People BEWARE!

Answered the fourth call from this number which had been identified as spam. male Asian voice said "I am from the Commonwealth Bank".
I replied "suppose you are the teller " He then hung up.
