Called back at midnight. Called "Clever Contacts" asking for money for charity. Really - any donated money would all go to paying their wages. They said they would be calling me back. Not very "Clever" I will be blocking this company immediately. I suspect they got our number from an illegal source as they also called my husband's phone seconds after I did not answer. We are both on the Do Not Call register. Fat lot of good that does!!!

I called back number (02) 5623 4078 reached voice mail for a company called Clever Contacts.

I am listed with do not call and my phone recognised it as spam but I answered it anyway as curious.
They tried to pretend they weren’t spam so I asked them straight out are you spam after the whole how are you today rubbish. She said what is spam! Lol. Then tried to tell me records show I have supported them before and won’t not answer when I said are you advertising so i hung up.

(02) 5623 4078) belongs to Guide Dogs Australia. Yes they're asking for money but you can say 'NO'. I don't believe this is spam.

Received call not calling back. My mobile number is on Do not call registry. Doesn't stop unknown numbers calling me.

This number has just called me, did not leave a message, appears yet another one of these marketing people who get our numbers from charities who always ask you for you number , and then sell the number or give the number to marketing companies to harass the kind people who support them or buy their raffle tickets. Don't these charities realise that by using (or misusing) the phone number people have to give them so they can be contacted if they win a raffle, or because charities won't accept donations without your phone number, that all the kind people who donate will get fed up and stop donating.. no one wants to get called by marketing calls.

They're not operating illegally - if you donate to any charity they will give your contact details to Clever Contact in order to attempt to get a regular donation from you. It could also be from any online forms for competitions you may have completed.

Clever contacts is a marketing group who have contracts with a few charities - my call was in relation to RSPCA donations.

Nice male voice said he was calling about the Heart Health booklet I had requested.
I told him I had not requested anything. He then said had I completed a survey recently. I told him no and I did not want any booklet and then hung up.

Called three times in two days. Said they were a charity however they don't leave a message. They may have said they were Guide Dogs Assoc - I'm not sure.

Called but didn’t leave a message. No idea where they got my number. Am on the do not call register. Their website is not valid. Annoying. Blocked this number straight away.
