Caller: scammer

had a few calls from this number they always open with "we need to confirm your details before we tell you who we are or why we are calling "

I'm 99% sure that its a scam,
Someone pretending to be from the NBN giving you a free modem but still charging you a fee for the modem.
Call your ISP to double check

Caller: Claiming to be NSW government

Male with accent called to inform me the NSW Government was offering free hot water systems to residents. Then asked me to confirm my details. Clearly a scam and I hung up

Called after 10pm, left no message. Number is “not connected” when I tried to call back.

Unknown number from Port Macquarie

no message left

Missed call the first time, no message left. Answered the second time, but hung up without saying anything. Pretty sure it's a scammer.

Number says they were from Port Macquarie. Chose not to answer. I dont know anyone from this area, so assuming its a scam call.

Number called. No message left. (No unknown to us.)

Dodgy

Called 10:47am didn't recognise number, says it was from Port Macquarie, NSW, tried to call back, says number not connected.

Hung up - scam caller
Rang after 7:30pm

Unknown number from Port Macquarie. Called back but number rung out. Blocked

These people should be tracked down and prosecuted. Definate scam caller.

Asked if i was the home owner, and claimed to be representing state government offering a free hot water system upgrade. Scam.

Called 3 times in 3 hours.
