Just received the same message from this number regarding tax evasion. Female voice, British accent.

Received a scam call from this number telling me (but not addressing me by name) that it was a call from the Australian Taxation Office. The voice was female with an English accent. She said they had not received a tax return from me and were going to prosecute unless I called this number.

Received a number of voicemails including an automated female voice with a British accent, claiming to be the ATO and instructing me to call (02) 5317 7017 regarding tax evasion or a warrant will be issued for my arrest. Called the number out of curiosity and it had been disconnected.

Just got this call too. Received my tax return last week so was wondering what it was about.

Tax avoidance?...f off, like that's even possible for a blue collar worker in Australia, politician yes, big business definitely, but not me, so I wont be wasting no 50 cents returning that call.

Automated message asking to call back this number in regards to tax evasion. Surprised they have a return phone number as would think the police could trace this and close it down. No doubt will be disconnected soon as anyone could ring and tell them to F%$K off (always wanted to do that but never think of it at the time).

Just received the same message from this number as Susan, same female voice.

Same message- called number and questioned them- they promptly hung up

F#$%k wit rang twice, when i rang back and said i missed the call, when oh bugger and hung up.
