Standard operating procedure of a call from an unrecognised number to my landline. No message recorded. Reporting here as I fully expect others will receive unsolicited calls in due course

Received today from a person who could barely speak English claiming I had transactions on my Amazon account. I hung up as it was a scammer.

Caller: (02) 5303 1975 from Bathurst

Voice message left by woman with American accent claiming to be from ? security asking me to confirm $14.99 for Amazon subscription and $700 for Western Union overseas transfer. Checked bank and credit card transactions and found no such transactions.

Received a call at 7.30am. No message left. Probably just another scam call. Blocked

Phone didn't even ring, but I got a missed call notification, and it's already been reported as potential fraud / scam caller.

Much the same as others here. The call shows as coming from Bathurst, but no message left. Will be blocking.

Unknown number only rang for a short time and no msg left. BLOCKED!

Recieved a call around midday from this number while holidaying in NSW (live in QLD). Did not answer as it was an unknown number. No message left. Reporting as it may well be a scammer number.

Another scam I'm guessing.

Also received a call from this number - no message - on the back of my wife receiving two scammer calls today - Its the season for it
