Caller: Claimed to be Telstra

Scammer. offered me 50% discount on my bill. they asked for me email address to verify. I said I didn't remember which email I used and asked them to tell me what it started with. They said hotmail account then outlook and I have neither. then they said they would send a text message verification. they asked if I received it twice and I said no. Then someone in the background said 'hang up man' and they hung up. when you try to call back it says mailbox full

The call came from Bathurst with a recorded message saying that my PayPal account had been hacked. I ended the call and blocked the number

They are Scammy McScamface.

Block. Don't give them even a crusty crumb.

Called 12.07 pm 09 Mar 2024. Female caller, name Clara, Chinese accent, claimed to be from Telstra Technical Department.

Telstra scam wanting access to my computer to correct access attack. Called him out -said report being lodged and hung up on him (Indian accent again)

A call was made to my mobile - no message left. I assume it is a scam call.

I answered, there was a brief pause and then a recorded message started playing

Indian lady calling to say my ip address is public and is a problem. She wanted me to check my ip address now but I told her I couldn't as I'm at work. I told her to send me an email and she hung up on me. Googling tells me it's not an issue that my ip is public. But apparently she wanted my ip address for who know what reason.

Rang from Bathurst, a message in English and Chinese. Looking to get me to agree to something, some sort of threatening warning. Total scum. Arrest, Deport after prison.

Definite scammer. Called number back. Says message bank full.

While listening to bluetooth music, the music interrupted and a woman said 'Veergo (02) 5303 1557' then 7 ring tones and the calling ended.

Phoned. No message left. Believe to be scam. Number blocked

Fake Telstra calling me in Victoria from Bathurst NSW? This guy was so dumb and would be unemployable in Australia.

Said they were westpac and did i try and do a transaction in nz

Caller was not in my existing address list; caller ID said it was from Bathurst NSW

Automated message claiming to be calling about an unauthorised transaction on my credit card. Pressing 1 gets you connected to the Indian Scam Centre. Typical scam.

I had the same experience today from this number to my mobile phone saying PayPal. Scam for sure.
