Caller: Scammer This guy said he was from Telstra and that my Internet was running slow. It was coincidental as I had logged a fault with Telstra yesterday. He asked me to run a speed test on my computer which I did and then wanted me to check a couple of other commands on my computer. I became suspicious and asked of his Telstra ID and name. He said his name was Steve Russell and his ID was T77103. He was very pushy so I hung up and called Telstra to check his ID. It turns out he is a scammer and was trying to access my computer. He was extremly good at what he was doing and at avoiding my questions. If you get a call from this number / bloke, just hang up and block the number.

Claimed to be from NBN. Started to talk about upgrade to optic fibre. Clearly a scam attempt to access my computer. NBN is the wholesaler, they will not ring you.
