Apparently my tax file number is suspended due to legal action against me and i need to call this number. Complete rubbish.

I called back number (02) 5133 5504 reached voice mail but did not say for what comapny.

Thanks for this site identifying that this number is from a scammer. Barred the number.

Reported to the police as a scam - its a computerized voice stating tax file number is suspended due to legal action against and i need to call this number. Ive heard of this scan before and know of a young girl who fell for it and paid a large sum of $ - be careful!!!

I received an incoming call yesterday (18/03/2020) from this number but was unable to answer it at the time. When I later checked the details of the missed call I found it had an unrecognisable ID, so I am going to ignore it.

I get a call from this number (02) 5133 5504 when I call back go in voice mail the voice very scared me out

called me i missed it tried to call back... line was really distorted apparently im under investigation...definitely a scam

Said something about a legal case with Services Australia

Claiming to be Services Australia stating that I have legal action against me and my tax number has been suspended. Scam.

Robo message tells me "My tax file number is suspended due to legal action against me and press 1 if you need to discuss further... Fully rubbish. I suspect this is a scam.

Same as above. Automated computerised message that "tax identification number" had been suspended. lol

They wanted my full name, postcode, last 4 digits of my tax file number and balance on my bank account.
He said he is a senior officer, and there are a lot of allegations made against me by the government lol
And I have 25 bank accounts linked under my name (gave him a fake name).

Same as above, they tried to tell me there were investigations into my TFN and they needed the number to Identify me for security reasons I called them out and they tried to tell me some investigators would becoming around to my house. When they asked for my post code I gave them the wrong one and they said it was right and tried to proceed
