"Mine went to voice mail too. All I heard was half a message "a representative will be with you. Press..." I hung up and deleted the message - not sure what it was for."

When answered there was an automated response that mentioned eBay and money I owed. I don't deal with eBay so hung up and blocked the number.
I was reluctant to answer at first because the number looked wrong. However, the location was ACT Canberra and I thought there may be some truth to the call.

Left automated message that I would be debited $99.00. I called number back straight away as message didn’t say who called and Asian lady answered claiming to be eBay. I hung up on her.

Call from this number, I did not answer, left recorded message asking me to select numbers to get different information. I called back, overseas call centre? Indian? Asking me for information so she could check eBay purchase? Would not provide information on their own account and then hung up. I suspect a scam.
