This number called my mobile this afternoon (2/12/22).
I'm based in Melbourne. It showed as a Balldale, New South Wales number on the display.
Where the heck in Australia is that???
This mystery number left a voicemail. The message was a woman's American accent recording saying something like "you owe us $200 PayPal.. press 1 to pay etc.."
WHY can't TELSTRA do a damn thing about these scams? Telstra = Multi-Billion dollar company. Surely they've got the cash & equip to BLOCK these daily scams from our mobiles and landlines???

Scam call with fake PayPal message about having authorised a payment and to call them back to stop it. Number called me several times over different day

Rang my mobile and as I didnt answer, left a message saying monies were going to be debited to my and I need to call back to stop it. I didnt call them back as I knew it was a Scam. Then I blocked this number and suggest you do the same.

Balldale, is down near Albury, north of Rutherglen ( nice wine area ) the bots overseas create numbers as fast as Telstra can shut them down, and they dont want to stop legit numbers either. Just keep reporting as scam.. if idiots didn't hand over there cash it would all go away !
