received a txt message from -commbank saying :
A login was made location: Auckland NZ. If this was NOT you contact us urgently on (02) 5016 2509 {link} REF:CO3020 (link).

Note the - before the name. It was from a different number from other bank notifications received also, so suspicious. I reverse checked here. Scam

Pretending to be from commonwealth bank and saying someone’s sending $499 for medical expenses and to confirm if you know that person or not.

Caller: Paypal

They said that someone made a purchase on my PayPal account and to cancel it I had to download Splashtop SOS which is on demand remote app. I hung up. They rang back 8 times in 5 min

Got a text saying that my comm bank account was accessed from Auckland, NZ and to call this number urgently with a reference code. When I called, it sounds legit because there’s the basic automated female voice like in a lot of Australian centres, and classical music playing for hold music.

When it got picked up, I gave them the “reference code” I was messaged and he asked if I had the comm bank mobile banking to which I said no. And I told him I don’t even have a commonwealth bank account and he immediately hung up on me.

THIS IS A WELL CONSTRUCTED SCAM!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM BANK DETAILS!!

Claimed to be from commonwealth bank saying here was my one time passcode for purchase of 277.28 AUD at Woolworths and requesting a urgent call back if this was not me. Googled number before calling to see if it came up as CBA. Confirmed scam.
Good luck to them (not!) - its not pay day till Monday so I don't have 277.28 in my bank account.

Scammer pretending to be from commonwealth Bank sent text: "Saadeddin Othmanis nokia B7 has been seen linked to your app recently, if you are unaware about this, be sure to call us on (02) 5016 2509."
Don't think the president of Morocco would be putting money in my account. lol checked bank account no suspicious activity and reported the scam on the commonwealth bank's web site.

Txt claiing that Saadeddin Othmanis Nokia B7 was seen linked to my ccount and to call the above number to sort it out lol, Bad grammar and Commonwealth Bank claim obviously fraudulent

Received text to say Saadeddin Othmanis Nokia B7 has been seen inked to my app recently and if unaware to call (02) 5016 2509

Said it was from CommBank and someone had login in to my Auckland and to contact them urgently on this number

Caller: Said they were Paypal

Said I had to contact them to cancel a charge on my Paypal account. Just hung up on the call.

(02) 5016 2579 called back this number woman says she is from Pay Pal absolute scam

Ring back and they say they are from PayPal

Scam call. The robot operator wants you to call back to cancel a scam order.

Caller: Said from Pay Pal

This number rang me. I didn’t answer. I then received a message from PayPal, so I thought might be legit. I called the number back. The woman said she was from PayPal and had I ordered a gift card as she was checking order. When I questioned her further (because it didn’t sound right), she hung up.
