Caller: Insurance Scam

I was contacted on my personal mobile by an Indian call operator quoting that I had been in a vehicle accident and he was calling to confirm details and help me retrieve compensation. I simply said Id not been in an accident and he hung up on me. I called the landline from which he called (02) 4937 9506) to see if it lead anywhere and an Australian lady picked up explaining that she was the owner of a bakery store in Maitland (NSW) and believes the scammers have tapped her landline over the past 2-3 weeks as multiple people have contacted her with the same question about insurance fraud calls. She was very friendly and understanding but understandably frustrated.
