Called me this morning to confirm my solar appointment. I was confused at first because we are planning a solar appointment in a couple weeks with a different company, but I definitely did not make an appointment today with anyone. On further enquiry I found out they knew what I was after (perhaps through a general form I'd filled in a few months ago about solar?) and that they did not provide it. Tried to talk me into a grid connect system ( impossible for us) or solar hot water (unnessecary) instead. Regardless, I thought it was poor form to ring and confirm an appointment I didn't even make!

The problem is these people get numbers from old phone books so even if you are on a do not call register they still have the number. Call centers just make calls to fill up there allocated amounts I'm sure! Also think they use a system where they only pay as a local call so no skin off there nose.

I'm always getting phone calls from this number for Aussie Wide Solar, no matter how many times I tell them it's a business phone, I'm not interested, and please stop calling. I was even told I'd be taken off the list (I'm also on the Do Not Call register), yet I continue to get calls from them every couple of weeks.

I have had several calls from this number. Some times they don't answer, other times I get the solar panel spiel. I'm on Do Not Call.
Last time a human rang, they did it twice in one day. Someone on the other end now has a hearing impediment. I now have a whistle by the phone - that's the next move.

The above number belongs to a company called "The Quote Group" - they are in the business of Cold Calling / Tele Marketing. Very annoying - I redirect their calls to an Overseas office number I have :) I hope they have a good phone plan
