Has to be a spoof

Caller ID showed number as (02) 4902 5871. Possible location of caller: Lower Hunter or Newcastle NSW, Australia. Frequent caller despite being asked NOT to call, hung up on or just listened to until they hang up. Delay in answering phone, audible background chatter and scripted, barely understandable speech. SCAMMERS! I am sick and tired of them.

Somebody claiming to be from Telstra saying my mail server had been infected by a virus therefore affecting my computer. When pressed for his name and ID number and the correct spelling of it, he hung up. Definite spammer.

SCAM CALL 100% Caller ID showed number as (02) 4902 5871. Caller identified themselves as being from Telstra Technical Department and informed us that they could fix the problems we were having with our internet connection and computers. Audible background chatter and caller barely able to make themselves understood. Sticks to "scripted" conversation and asks for access to computer data to help fix the problem. Two things: wrong provider and we aren't having any problems with either computer or internet.
