Caller: Supposedly Australian Tax Office This is an automated message that plays when you answer your phone and asks you to press a number for options to pay your tax bill. Obviously it’s a scam as the tax office doesn’t operate that way but for the uninitiated, it can trap them. Got disconnected when I tried to ring the number back.
