Caller: Telstra Scam "HI this is Annie from Telstra Technical department, we care calling you because your internet has been compromised and we need access to this to fix it for you now. Please sit down in front o your computer" - this from a very 'distant' phone line and one very Indian person.
My reply "Oh I'm sorry Annie but I cant sit in font of my computer because I dont own one, so I guess my internet is not compromised as I don't have it (PROMPT HANG UP)
I called back the number she rang on (02) 4708 0749 and constantly engaged - no doubt 'Annie' is ringing some other poor sucker.
NEVER GIVE ANY OF TOUR DETAILS AWAY TO THE TELSTRA TEHNICAL DEPARTMENT Telstra does not make random calls like this
