If you receive a phone call or message from the following number (02) 4407 0021 claiming that it is the Australian Taxation Office, don't panic, IGNORE IT! They will claim that there is a warrant out for your arrest on an outstanding case of tax fraud and you or your solicitor need to call them back. There isn't a warrant out and even if there was, they wouldn't warn you of your impending arrest!! I just had the message left on my phone and I burst out laughing. I checked the internet and confirmed my suspicions that it is a scam.

Ive had same guy leave threats on voicemail demanding me to ribg them back. Ive reported it to govt authorities

ATO scammer very rude when I told him I couldn't afford retail vouchers to pay my outstanding $3k unpaid taxes !!!

Received a call from this number..A recording was saying a call from ATO and I have some fraud in taxation.immediately turned it off.
