Caller: Said they were from NBN

Threatened to cut NBN off in 7 days because of "Technical fault" & said to dial 1 to talk to technician. I hung up. Twenty mins later I tried to ring this number & it died after 20 rings. Sounds like a scam to me.

Phones regularly every few weeks. Threatens to cut off my internet and phone service unless I press 1 to speak to a technician.

So sick and tired of the calls./ Can we just drop a bomb on their call centre?

Caller: NBN supposedly

Automated message saying they have been trying to get hold of me & they are going to cut off landline & internet in 24 hours & to press 1 to connect with a technician. Funny they have been calling every day for about a week. I still have my services. I waited out & didn’t press 1 & it just disconnected after a few seconds.

I am getting same calls saying "...NBN will be cut off....". First time I made mistake and dialled #1 ... it went to busy signal. What do you think that means?
(I just hang up now)

Caller: A scammer

This is a scam and have had several calls ,strangely it happens about the same time that have received message saying NBN connection may be interrupted during hours of 1am and 6am. Makes me wonder if both are scams or are the scammers using this as a ruse to scare people.Do not 'press 1' as directed.

Repeated calls all going to answering machine, but they never leave a message. Thanks for the info that it is a NBN scam.

Scam recorded message about NBN - just hang up !!

Caller: NBN

Receiving the same calls from various phone numbers threatening to disconnect the internet within 24 hours. I always hang up as soon as I hear the voice recording. Sometimes it goes to message bank, other times it just rings out. They are calling from so many different numbers too, such as: 61 2435 24581, 61 04192 822261, (02) 5101 3688, (02) 4352 4581

never answer this number i don't have any relative over there

So sick of the calls from this number. "Nicole" from NBN don't bother calling again.

Had a missed called ,rang back but it rang about 20 rings then cut off.

Was a missed call. I had a subsequent call from 616183756510, then a no caller ID call. This I answered as I have a close relative in hospital. Caller said they were Nicole from Nation Broadband Network. We will disconnect - I hung up. Voice sounded computer generated, not human.
