Caller: 4302 4840

My phone said it was coming from Gosford. I called them back and after many many rings, I got this:

Her: "Hello [name] speaking."
Me: "Hi, I missed a call from this number."
Her: "Okay one moment... is this [myname]?"
Me: "Who am I speaking to?"
Her: "[name]."
Me: "I mean what organisation."
Her: "CBD."
Me: "What? CB... what?"
Her: "I'm calling from Sydney CBD."
Me: "No, not your location. Your organisation."
Her: "I'm not authorised to disclose that until I can confirm I'm speaking with [myname]."
Me: "I don't have time for this sweetie. Bye."

And yes I hope the "sweetie" triggered her.

This is a scam.

I called back number (02) 4302 4840 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

This number (02) 4302 4840 calls me but does not leave a message on my voicemail. I do not answer random numbers to avoid scams & marketing calls. If they want me so desperately then leave a voicemail and I will consider calling back.

Similar conversation to where I missed a call, called back and they asked my name but wouldn't answer who they were.

Kept calling, but unknown numbers are all blocked or silent so I just don’t care unless we know each other. The amount of fraudulent transactions in activity from leaked ID who is going to take except the debts or risk on face values!!These a**holes state or say it was the customers OFC. Why do we have to prove our innocence, why digital currency is wrecking all our lives 🤬from these bastard companies incompetent lack of respect to protect our privacy! Aussies need to fight these Governments scum bags
