Caller said that we have an important delivery arriving and that we would need to open the email they sent us so we can reference a number to delivery driver. They got our details from our business website ie, business name, address, email address and phone number.

They insisted that they stay on the phone while we open email and tried to create a sense of urgency.

When we queried who they are and what was being delivered they couldn't answer and just said it was "an important parcel" from a medical facility.

We queried them further and they just hung up. SCAM!!!

Hi All, I'm Pete the GM of Zoom2u. All of these calls are scam calls and do not represent our business. We do send confirmation emails, but never with attachments only a tracking link via SMS or email. Our number is 1300 326 150.
Unfortunately there's not much we can do about this apart from lodging it in Scam Watch.

Caller said that we have an important delivery arriving and that we would need to open the email they sent us so we can reference a number to delivery driver. Has our business address and email. When I questioned the legitimacy of his call, he insisted that it wasn't a scam. However when I told him that I had googled the number and he had already had 27 complaints he hung up.

We had a call this morning from this dodgy scam artist. He sent through email which I refused to open. When I queried him he said that I ask too many questions, demanded he speak to my Manager and then told me he was going to sue me. Very aggressive man. Do not fall for this. Disgusting human

Answered, was advised by a guy with an American accent that our office would be receiving a parcel in 45 minutes and they needed to confirm our address & email address. He said we would receive an email with a tracking code and we were advised to click on the PDF document attached to confirm the tracking code. He was adamant we stayed on the phone until the email came through, when we told him it hadn't come through he insisted we wait so we could confirm the tracking code with him. We advised we would reply to his email once received, which he didn't like, and then we promptly hung up. Email came through 15 minutes after the call ended, supposedly from Zoom2u Delivery; no personal details within the email & the document attached looked extremely suspicious - deleted without opening. Do not fall for this scam.

called at 7.15am WA Standard time advising a delivery was to be delivered in 30 - 45 minutes to our street address, and asked for the address and email provided by them be confirmed. Once confirmed, the caller requested that I open the link sent in the email to our email address so the delivery could be tracked. When notified the time, and that I was unable to check the email until later; but would be available to accept the delivery when it arrived, the caller hung up. The email received appears to be linked to a legitimate company Zoom2u Delivery, and also included the Zoom2u and Commonwealth of Australia logos.

Same, he asked me to open the link and provide the code over the phone. I told him if that's a legit delivery you can go straight away to the PO box and deliver no need to for us to confirm a BIG SCAM

Caller: "delivery" company

Indian accent woman, called with a name, company name, and address. Will say that they're delivering a package but need you to confirm details via a link in an email and they need an email to send it to. Classic scam.

I strung her along for a little while, surprised she didn't start screaming at me like most scammers do when they realise I've just been wasting their time.

Scammer
Had extremely old details of a business owner and email address and insisted they had an urgent package for this person. I said straight away this is a scam as the details you have are extremely old and the person you are talking about is in a different state now so nothing would be delivered to this address. I told her she was a scammer and even if she was to send the email to the link of the package we had to ok that our server would block it... she then hung up.

American accent. Claimed to be a courier company and had a deliver for the director, driver would be at our location in a hour and would someone be there to receive it. Said we need to give code to driver to receive it, sent us an email and I was asked to click on the pdf document attached to give code. The sender email address didn't match the company claimed to be calling from so I queried her and put her on hold. She hung up. Major Scam
