Caller said that we have an important delivery arriving and that we would need to open the email they sent us so we can reference a number to delivery driver. They got our details from our business website ie, business name, address, email address and phone number.
They insisted that they stay on the phone while we open email and tried to create a sense of urgency.
When we queried who they are and what was being delivered they couldn't answer and just said it was "an important parcel" from a medical facility.
We queried them further and they just hung up. SCAM!!! - PaulJuly 10, 2019UnknownAustralia

Caller: "delivery" company
Indian accent woman, called with a name, company name, and address. Will say that they're delivering a package but need you to confirm details via a link in an email and they need an email to send it to. Classic scam.
I strung her along for a little while, surprised she didn't start screaming at me like most scammers do when they realise I've just been wasting their time. - PeterJune 24, 2022UnknownRomania
Hi All, I'm Pete the GM of Zoom2u. All of these calls are scam calls and do not represent our business. We do send confirmation emails, but never with attachments only a tracking link via SMS or email. Our number is 1300 326 150.
Unfortunately there's not much we can do about this apart from lodging it in Scam Watch. - AnonymousJune 6, 2022UnknownAustralia

Scammer
Had extremely old details of a business owner and email address and insisted they had an urgent package for this person. I said straight away this is a scam as the details you have are extremely old and the person you are talking about is in a different state now so nothing would be delivered to this address. I told her she was a scammer and even if she was to send the email to the link of the package we had to ok that our server would block it... she then hung up. - AnonymousMay 3, 2022Scam callAustralia

Same call and details as above. Small medical package for our company but address was 15 years old. I told her to return to sender then blockrd - AnonymousApril 22, 2022Scam callAustralia
American accent. Claimed to be a courier company and had a deliver for the director, driver would be at our location in a hour and would someone be there to receive it. Said we need to give code to driver to receive it, sent us an email and I was asked to click on the pdf document attached to give code. The sender email address didn't match the company claimed to be calling from so I queried her and put her on hold. She hung up. Major Scam - AliciaFebruary 24, 2022Unsolicited callAustralia
Received a call to our office and asked us to open the link they had just emailed. When we queried what it was for they said it was a document delivery for a person in our team that doesn't usually have things sent to them and that we needed to open the link for the delivery person as they do not accept signatures anymore due to covid. We put them on hold and discussed it between us and decided the email address and the info in the email didn't match up. So we told them we were not going to open the email, they advised that the delivery is coming in an hour and the driver needs the code from the link in the email. We told them that we will wait for the driver and sort it out then. Haven't had the driver arrive as yet! - AnonymousFebruary 21, 2022UnknownAustralia

Claimed I won a trip to Disneyland which I entered on Facebook 9 mths ago (I didn't). They got info off my Facebook profile. Lucky I put a fake address on it. Alarm bells went off. Wanted me to confirm my credit card details. I asked what info they had or to tell me the last 4 digits but they kept saying no just read it off the card so they can see if theirs is right. I hung up the phone. - StephenJuly 10, 2019UnknownAustralia
