Caller: Male possibly india

Tried to verify my full name & address. Said I had won travel vouchers. Mindful of voice I d I said I couldn’t remember entering any competition & was going to hang up. He immediately called back twice. Message sounded like a call centre

Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

I didn’t answer number - showed Wollongong in my phone/ went to voice mail.. lots of background noise… inaudible voice then hung up … scammer.. and blocked!

Missed call on my landline from this number. No message left on voicemail. From the other comments it sounds like calls from other numbers I have had in past. If I recall correctly a Google search showed a travel company named by the caller(s) in Malaysia. Also I recall that the caller would only deal with me if I had a credit or debit card. Saying that I didn't ended the call quickly as I "didn't qualify for the offer".

Call from NSW Indian man with fake accent loud background just hung up

Rang at 10pm and we didn't answer. Suspect a scam caller as no one rings people at 10pm. Googled the number and says Wollongong area. We don't know anyone in Wollongong area.
