Caller: Pretending to be Vodafone billing

BEWARE: Indian call centre calling routing via Sydney number pretending to be Vodafone. They say Vodafone is giving me a 20% discount on my plans. Will need my 4 digit passcode and the code generated from sms confirmation. I believe they will access your account and generate the 4 digit, ask you to give them via your sms text message so that they have full access to your account.

They said they were from Vodafone and were giving me a 30% discount. I fell for it. I had to provide my 4 digit pin and they then sent an SMS (looked legit) with a code to read to the lady. I read it out. She then said that the discount was only for bill payers (not prepaid). I said 'could you not see that prior to calling me'?. She then hung up. I then reread the text which said 'Vodafone will never ask for this code'. I then rang Vodafone customer service and quickly changed my 4 digit pin. They said this is not a number that Vodafone would call from.

2 Female Indian accent presenting or pretending as a Vodafone officer in the Billing Dept and that I was chosen to get a 30% discount of my bill for 3 months. Provided my other personal details and confirned them with me. It sounds legit due to the SMS msg code that came from the same Vodafone thread where I get my bill notification. Then she said I will get an email of confirnation. Later on, An email arrived stating that I have purchased a tablet and an iphone with a different address delivery. I then immediately reported the incident to Vodafone by using the phone number I have saved on my phone and changed ny pin and correct my personal details on my vodafone online. I am filing a police report on this due to identity theft/fraud.

Said calling from Vodafone billing department (I'm not using Vodafone). After I asked the woman on the phone "Are you still working? This is Friday night." She hung up.

Called twice this past week. Appeared to be Indian accent. First call was from another number. Said calling from Vodafone. In the first call they knew my name but I said I don't have an account with Vodafone, they hung up. Second call (from (02) 4072 1102) they identified as calling from Vodafone I again said I don't have an account with Vodafone and they hung up. Scam.

just called me and i don't even understand a single word coming from her month.. accent too strong.

Pretended to be vodafone, asked for personal details then applied for a new iphone through my vodafone account.

Caller: Pretending to be Vodafone

Saying from Vodafone billing department I have outstanding bill, if I pay now 50 percent discount off the bill.,...... I let it roll. Then I say this is not a Vodafone account. Panicked then hung up. (Indian call centre) but they managed to have their caller Id as a Sydney number. Please people beware

Caller: They said Paypal

Said a certain amount was to be debited from my PayPal account.
I could change if I rang them back in the above number.
Believe it to be a scam.
