Caller: Unknown They have called several days in a row and just hung up. Looks like they are checking the line to see if someone will answer. Most likely from India just using this number to call people. I was getting a lot of scam calls with my previous Optus number and go them to change it. Still lots of scam calls with the new number from Optus. Wondering if other Optus customers are having the same issue with this number

Computer scam, stating computer locked due to identity theft virus. Told to call this number, and do not shut down the computer.

Scam site said (in paraphrase): "Your computer is disabled because of a security breach. Call (02) 4072 0945." This is an Australian number with an international calling number of (02) 4072 0945, a spoof number that could not be found on https://reverseaustralia.com.
