Caller: Vodaphone Phishing Scam

Claimed to give me a discount on my Vodafone bill. (I'm not even with Vodafone but I played along).

She wanted my pin number, so I gave them a fake pin number. Wasted their time for a while -. I suggest you do the same.

I picked up without speaking.
After 30 seconds I spoke, nil response.
No follow up call received.

Caller: GoDaddy

he says he was from go daddy about my domain names - but the phone took 50 seconds to connect - and my phone already showed this was a spam call - so I just wanted to see what scam they were pushing today

This number came up as Newcastle. I answered and it was a recorded message saying something about VISA charge, or VISA being blocked or something. I knew it was BS so hung up.

Said hello, no answer and then they hung up

Beware : Phishing Scam Operation
Claimed to be GoDaddy and she is now handling our domain.
Ask her some questions and she couldn't answer.

From Newcastle. Did not answer. No msg left.

Recorded message about unusual charges on my Visa account, press 1 to accept charges, press 2 to reject charges etc. Scam call.

Ignored, no voicemail left

Newcastle number, did not leave message

Very heavily accented Indian caller from Newcastle (?) who, as I eventually, made out, said they were calling from GoDaddy and were we planning
on upgrading our domain. I said no and suggested they get on to their next call. Almost an impenetrable accent and so, extremely hard to understand.
Number now blocked and spam notification made.

Called it back. Straight to system that said "Thankyou for calling GoDaddy. If you have *** press 1 blah blah blah,
That number is spam

The number rang and no one was on the other end of the phone. I had my phone on mute. The call ended after 60 seconds

Called and didn't leave voicemail.

Called and did not speak for 10 seconds, then the call ended.

I just had a phone call claiming it was GoDaddy also! They knew everything about my domain including how long my email subscription was, felt as if it was sketchy so I hung up. I just contacted GoDaddy support and they claim it is legit but after reading all the other reviews on this number I'm unsure now haha

September 2024. This call soon after another (presumably phishing) one which used my gmail/pseudonym. No voice or message, they hung up after 30 seconds.

My phone flagged it as "Potential Fraud" I have Blocked this number
