Very annoyed to discover this unidentified number from Newcastle is a legitimate number from Origin Energy, and they didn't leavce a message - idiots. So now I've wasted time checking the number. If they had left a voice mailmessage I would have called them back. And they wonder why I've just left them! Grrrr.

Same, I just had a missed call from them too with no message left. Funny how they're calling me now when I've switched providers but didn't call me when they kept upping fees and lowering the solar feed in tariff!

Definately Origin - NOT A SCAM

I confirmed today that (02) 4063 1015 is a legitimate number for Origin Energy.
I had a call from this number offering me a discount on my gas account and NBN connection. I told them to call later and called Origin to confirm. Origin staff told me the details of the offers made to me and were able to confirm that the offers made to me were legitimate.

Definite some sort of con!! Ignore then block

Received several unsolicited calls from this number. Messages left saying from Origin Energy. I called Origin Energy direct but they didn't confirm. Can only assume a scam

Got a call and missed it, left a msg on msg bank, said it was origin. I rang as I had dealings with origin before, it went like origin calling right to the T. WORD FOR WORD. SHE WAS ENGLISH, FELLA WHO ANSWERED WAS FOREIGN, AS MY HEARING WAS NOT GOOD ASKED FOR AN ENGLISH SPEAKING PERSON. HE SAID I UNDERSTAND YOU, YES SHONKY AS, I PUT THE RECEIVER DOWN. LUCKY HE IS SITTING DOWN AS I AM SICK AND TIRED OF ALL THIS B/S. I HAVE BEEN HACKED THIS YEAR AND SO MUCH DEALING WITH BANKS, TELSTRA ETC. HE SOUNDED INDIAN. HIS BALLS WILL BE CUT IF I GET HOLD OF HIM, HE WILL NEVER SIT DOWN AGAIN.

Missed call from Newcastle number. Just changed from Origin to Red Energy so I assume they've suddenly found a better deal for me. I'll try the Australian owned company for a while.

Was the rate they offered you actually better?

Unless they leave me an email stating that they will call me between a certain time allocation. During the day. I'm not interested in answering and it's unsolicited calls as my number is listed private, and after the latitude financial data breach, I get constant spam calls and telemarketers definitely do not answer any call unless they leave a message.

I could clearly hear a call centre background with lots of voices and was difficult to understand the person leaving a voicemail message due to their nationality.
I chose to not answer this call.
Not sure if its real or not but I have been told noone ever calls you.
