Was a scam call re ebay purchase about to be made.

Caller: scammer

Automated call claims to be from ebay regarding cancellation of a $299 gift voucher. A keypad menu then directs you to an operator.

The operator then asks for your name and phone model and directs you to the google play store to install a remote control app called TeamViewer QuickSupport.

Computer voices saying to press 1 to cancel order left on voice mail another scam attempt

4-8-23 claimed he was telstra he said your internet is to be cut off hes voice seemed slured he rang to-day

Guy called tried to sell me a new energy.

Caller: Frank

The number was (02) 4602 0943 Msg nd images came up on screen, with repeating voice to call this # nd not turn off computer. Called, Frank answered, he took over screen, said my computer was compromised. He could fix it if I paid $300/3 years, $400/4 years or $700/ lifetime. By this stage Frank was getting annoyed after I could not afford this amount. He then changed to $100/ one year. Then I hung up. I then turned off everything

Recorded message. I hung up within 2 seconds and blocked the number.

Scam call claiming Google Play Store account has been hacked.

Caller: SCAMM CALL

Scamm Call. Said they were from Ebay. Computer generated. Don't give any details.

Caller: “eBay”

Automated message trying to authorise a payment. I hung up and called back. The guy answered with “eBay Australia”. I told him about the phone call and he then asked for my name. I said “hold on, I’m not comfortable sharing that info with you when I never authorised a payment for anything”

He hung up straight away!

Caller: Claimed to be Ebay Care line

This was a scam. A recorded message saying that $299 was about to be debited from my account for my ebay purchase and if it wasn't me I should press 1. Claimed to be the Ebay Care line. They gave out a number to call back on which didn't match the one they called me on.

Caller: Scammers

Please do not return calls from this number (02) 4062 0128. This is basically an Ebay purchase scam. Caller will say there is an Ebay purchase which you have not authorised and to block the payment you will need to download a remote screen sharing app which will then give them access to your phone or computer. Do not take any calls from this number.

Recorded message supposedly from eBay trying to confirm payment. Scam as do not have eBay account.
