Caller: Allegedly "Telstra Billing Department" - SCAM

Received a call from an Indian sounding lady in a very loud Indian sounding call centre.
Call came up as if it originated in Newcastle NSW.
Said she was from Telstra billing department and I had been selected to have my mobile bill at no cost for the next 6 months.
Could not tell me what type of account I had, just had my name and number.
Put me through to her 'supervisor' who repeated the same spiel.
Asked for her Telstra Employee ID which she made up.
When I said I didn't want the offer, they pressed me to ask why. I told them because they are scammers and they immediately hung up.

A nuisance call… sounds like a call centre and a lady speaking in unknown language to me.

I called back number (02) 4041 3000 spoke to a woman who said company name is Noel McFarlane Real Estate .

OMG they dobt stop calling! Please!!! I’m not interested! Real estate pushy sales people!

This is the correct name for the real estate agent. They have kept me on their marketing list as I enquired about a property for sale years ago.
